Refund policy

At Lareux, we want you to love your new bag from the moment it arrives. If something is not quite right, our return process is designed to be clear and straightforward. The guidelines below explain eligibility, timing, the condition of items, how to initiate a return, how refunds are issued, and important details about shipping costs. Please read carefully before sending any item back to ensure a smooth experience.

Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date shown by the carrier. To be eligible, items must be in the same condition you received them: unused, unaltered, clean, and with all original tags, accessories, protective packaging, and documentation included. Please use adequate outer packaging to protect the product box and hardware during transit.

Return Shipping Costs

Unless the item you received is incorrect or damaged, Lareux does not provide or reimburse return shipping costs. In cases where we are responsible for an error (wrong item, wrong color, wrong size) or the product arrives damaged or defective, we will provide a prepaid return label or otherwise cover the cost of return shipping after we verify the issue.

How to Return an Item

  1. Submit a Return Request: Email our Customer Service at service@lareux.com within 30 days of delivery. Please include:
    • Order number
    • Full name and the email address used at checkout
    • Item(s) you wish to return and the reason
    • Clear photos of the item and packaging if the product is damaged or incorrect
  2. Receive Authorization: Our team will review your request. If approved, you will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions. For damaged or incorrect items, a prepaid label will be provided after verification.
  3. Prepare Your Package: Place the item in its original packaging with all tags, dust bags, inserts, and accessories. Include the packing slip or a note with your order number and RMA number. Use a sturdy outer box to prevent transit damage.
  4. Ship the Return: If you are using your own carrier (non-defect/standard return), choose a trackable shipping service and consider purchasing insurance. Lareux is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit when the return label is not issued by us.
  5. Keep Proof of Shipment: Retain the tracking number and shipping receipt until your refund is confirmed.

Inspection & Processing

Once your return arrives at our facility, please allow 3–5 business days for inspection. We check that the item is unused and in its original condition with all components included. If the return meets our criteria, we will proceed with the refund according to the details below. If the item shows signs of wear or missing parts, we may contact you to discuss options; in such cases, a restocking adjustment may apply to reflect refurbishment needs. Any adjustments will be communicated before the refund is finalized.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original form of payment used at checkout. After we complete the inspection, please allow 5–10 business days for your financial institution to post the refund to your account. We will email you a confirmation when your refund has been processed.

  • Original Shipping Fees: Original outbound shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable unless your order was incorrect or the item arrived damaged.
  • Return Shipping: If you used your own label for a standard return, you are responsible for those costs. If we provided a prepaid label due to an incorrect or damaged item, Lareux covers the return shipping.
  • Bundles/Promotions: For purchases made with discounts or bundles, the refund will reflect the proportional value of the returned item(s).
  • Gifts: If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, we can issue a store credit or refund to the original payment method, depending on the purchaser’s preference and verification.

Exchanges

Want a different color or style? The fastest way is to return the item following the steps above and place a new order for the preferred item immediately. If the original item was incorrect or arrived damaged, contact us at service@lareux.com and we will assist with a no-cost return label (after verification) and help you secure the replacement as quickly as possible.

Incorrect or Damaged Items

If you receive the wrong item, or your bag arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at service@lareux.com. Include your order number and clear photos of the issue and packaging. After we confirm the problem, we will provide a prepaid label or alternative return arrangement and expedite a replacement or refund according to your preference and stock availability.

Packaging Guidance

To ensure your return arrives safely and qualifies for a refund, please return all items in their original product packaging (including dust bags, tags, inserts, and hardware protections) and place them within a durable outer shipping box. Avoid taping or labeling the product box directly. Use sufficient cushioning to protect straps, buckles, zippers, and corners from abrasion during transit.

International Returns

Customers returning items from outside the destination country are responsible for any additional shipping, customs, duties, or brokerage fees associated with the return, unless the item is incorrect or damaged and we have provided a prepaid return label after verification. Please mark the package as a return to minimize delays at customs and keep your tracking documentation until the refund is complete.

Order Changes & Cancellations

We start preparing your order quickly, so changes or cancellations may be possible only within a short window after purchase. If you need to modify your order, email service@lareux.com as soon as possible with your order number and request. If your order has already shipped, you can follow the standard return process after delivery.
